Deep plane facelift by Aesthetify

A facelift is a surgical procedure that rejuvenates the face and reduces wrinkles. Many people no longer feel comfortable in their ageing face and look for modern facelifting methods from aesthetic-plastic surgery. The procedure is usually performed under general anaesthesia, with incisions made in inconspicuous locations to tighten the skin and remove excess tissue. Despite having a positive attitude towards ageing, medical procedures can help improve one's outer appearance. Before the facelift, a thorough examination is necessary to select the most suitable method.

Frequently asked questions about the Deep Plane Facelift

Yes, a facelift can often be combined with other procedures. It is frequently performed together with an eyelid lift or supplemented with facial implants or lipofilling (the body's own fat). Depending on your wishes, our specialists can also combine the facelift with a rhinoplasty.

A facelift mainly tightens the middle to lower area of the face and should not be confused with a brow lift. Separate procedures are necessary to correct the forehead or eye area. A brow lift or an eyelid lift can be performed at the same time as a facelift to achieve more comprehensive results.

The result of a facelift lasts on average 8-10 years. The skin is tightened to create a youthful and firm appearance. Later on, a mini facelift can help maintain the result.

The incisions are made as inconspicuously as possible, usually along natural folds and behind the ear, so that they are not noticeable.

As with any operation, there are risks with a facelift too, although these occur very rarely. Possible risks include infections, bruising, nerve damage, anaesthesia complications, scarring and hair loss at the incision sites. Your surgeon will discuss these risks with you in detail.
