Breast implants are available in various shapes, differing in projection and width. Common shapes include anatomical, ergonomic and round implants. Anatomical breast implants give the breast a teardrop-like shape, round implants create a fuller décolleté, and ergonomic implants adapt to the body's proportions – for an especially natural breast augmentation result. While some women only want a slight adjustment in volume, others aim for a significantly larger bust. In a personal consultation, we determine the right shape and size based on your anatomy, lifestyle and individual wishes.

Breast augmentation by Aesthetify
Many women are dissatisfied with the natural shape of their breasts and wish for a fuller, more feminine bust and an attractive shape. Surgical breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure in which breast volume is increased and breast shape corrected using breast implants or the patient's own fat. The operation is usually performed under general anaesthetic and takes around one to two hours. The implant is placed through a small incision, often in the breast fold, so that the scar is as inconspicuous as possible. The implant for breast augmentation can be placed above or below the muscle. Once the implants have been inserted, the incision is sutured and the healing phase begins. This operation can have a positive effect on the patient's self-confidence and body perception.

Frequently asked questions about breast augmentation
A change in sensitivity (increase or decrease) after a breast augmentation is normal and should not worry you. A permanent change occurs only rarely and is usually due to nerve damage.
The consultation process before your breast augmentation is crucial. Our priority is a result that matches your wishes. Tell us during the consultation how you imagine your breasts after the augmentation. We will choose the implant size to suit your anatomy, lifestyle and wishes. Implants placed under the muscle have a lower profile and therefore feel more natural. We also recommend silicone implants if you want the result to look as natural as possible.
Don't worry – a breast augmentation is not a decision for life. It is an important and good decision if you suffer from breasts that are too small or misshapen and want to feel more comfortable again. However, if you are ever unhappy with your enlarged breasts, you can have the implants downsized or removed entirely (explantation). Since the implants stretch the skin, your natural breast may look somewhat different after removal. We also offer breast lifts to ensure an aesthetic result after removal. Find out about your options during a consultation.
We recommend waiting at least six months after the end of breastfeeding before having a breast augmentation. This ensures that your breasts have returned to their normal shape, which is important for a beautiful long-term result.
Breast implants that we place as part of breast augmentation can theoretically remain in the body for life and do not need to be routinely replaced. Some women nevertheless choose to have them exchanged or removed, whether due to a change in preference or physical changes. An exchange or removal is possible at our clinic at any time.
