Lip filler treatment is a low-risk procedure. Immediately after the treatment, mild swelling, redness, or a feeling of tightness may occur temporarily. However, these symptoms usually disappear on their own within a few days. The specialists at Aesthetify carry out several thousand treatments each year and will provide you with detailed, transparent information about potential side effects during your personal consultation.
The treatment at Aesthetify costs around €400.00 per millilitre of hyaluronic acid. The actual cost depends on your individual treatment goal and the amount of active ingredient required. Usually, 0.5 to 1.0 millilitres are sufficient, though Russian Lips often requires a little more. Please note that this treatment is a purely cosmetic procedure and health insurers generally do not cover the cost.
The longevity of the treatment depends particularly on two factors: the hyaluronic acid product used and the individual's metabolism. We use a high-quality hyaluronic acid with an exceptionally long duration of four to six months. However, the plumping effect takes hold shortly after the procedure.
If you would like to extend the duration of the effect, we recommend regular follow-up treatments. This can counteract the breakdown of the hyaluronic acid, so the lips keep their desired shape.
Our patients usually describe the treatment as low in pain. This is thanks to the precise application, the extremely fine needles, and an anaesthetic contained in the product. If needed, we can also apply a numbing cream before the injections to increase your comfort even further. We discuss all of this with you in detail during the consultation.
Russian Lips is a special form of lip filler treatment with hyaluronic acid. The technique originates from Russia, where it is widely used. In our clinics, we have further developed the method to achieve even better results for you. Russian Lips are particularly suitable for people with narrow, less contoured lips who want clearly defined lip volume but prefer a natural look.
By the way: even if you already have filler material in your lips, you don't have to forgo Russian Lips. However, the existing filler may first need to be dissolved with a special treatment. Feel free to ask us about it if you're interested!
Although both methods use the same substance – hyaluronic acid – the key difference lies in the technique. A classic lip filler is injected evenly into the lips to achieve uniform volume enlargement. The injection is done horizontally, making the lips appear fuller all around.
The Russian Lips technique, on the other hand, focuses on a subtle heart shape of the lips. The lips remain flatter, yet appear visually more voluminous. The hyaluronic acid is injected vertically with a smaller syringe. The injection begins at the base of the lip and is drawn outward. The result is particularly natural and subtle, ideal for a delicate emphasis of the lip shape.
If you are allergic to one or more ingredients in the hyaluronic acid product, lip fillers are not advisable. We also recommend not undergoing this treatment during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Kissing should be avoided in the first few hours after the treatment. The filler needs to settle into the tissue first – pressure on the lips can alter their shape and affect the result. In addition, no bacteria should get into the injection sites.
