FAQ

A SCULPTRA® treatment by our experts in Frankfurt is generally low-pain. We place great importance on making the injection as comfortable as possible for you – numbing of the affected skin areas is possible. Most patients feel only a slight tingling or burning sensation during the injection, but no pain.

To achieve a long-lasting result, several appointments for SCULPTRA® injections at our practice in Frankfurt are usually needed. We will discuss the exact intervals and number of treatments with you in detail. As a rough guide, you can go by the following:

  • 30 to 40 years: 1 to 2 repeat sessions within 3 to 4 months
  • 40 to 50 years: 2 to 3 repeat sessions within 3 to 4 months
  • 50 to 60 years: 3 to 4 repeat sessions within 3 to 4 months
  • After that, regardless of age: 1 repeat session every 12 to 18 months

Unlike classic fillers, the result – the firming effect – is not immediately visible. SCULPTRA® needs a few weeks to stimulate the body's own collagen production. A first effect is usually visible after four to six weeks – the final result appears three to four months after treatment.

At our clinic in Frankfurt, SCULPTRA® can, for example, be combined with hyaluronic acid if existing wrinkles are already very deep and additional volume build-up is needed. If you find expression lines bothersome and want not only to smooth your skin but also to prevent the wrinkles from recurring, additionally Botox® be used.
