Yes, the skin generally regenerates after a Hylase treatment. Hylase is an enzyme naturally produced by the body that does not trigger an immune response and is easily broken down. It gradually breaks down the hyaluronic acid, allowing the skin to regenerate and return to its natural state. To support the healing process, it is important that you follow the aftercare instructions given by your treating doctor.

Injecting Hylase makes sense when the injected hyaluronic acid needs to be specifically broken down. This can be the case, for example, if the aesthetic result after a hyaluronic acid treatment, such as a lip filler or under-eye circle treatment, does not meet your expectations. Hylase is able to partially or fully dissolve the injected hyaluronic acid, gently and effectively resolving the undesired effects of the previous treatment.

Generally, you will see the first effects after a Hylase treatment at Aesthetify in Berlin within a few hours. You will notice that the undesired effects gradually improve as the hyaluronic acid breaks down. The final result is visible after around two weeks.

Many patients want to know when hyaluronic acid can be injected again after a Hylase treatment. We recommend a waiting period of 14 days in the treated area so that the hyaluronidase can develop its full effect and no undesired effects occur.
