Hyaluronic acid
For Lip Augmentation lip plumping at our Berlin practice, we mostly rely on hyaluronic acid. This natural substance is produced by the body itself and provides moisture and elasticity to the skin. As we age, production decreases, which also becomes noticeable in the lips. Through targeted injections of hyaluronic acid, we give your lips new volume and shape them according to your wishes. In doing so, we make sure the result of the treatment looks natural and blends harmoniously into your face.
Our expertise also includes the popular Russian-Lips-technique, with which we always achieve very good, aesthetic results. What makes this method special is that the lips aren't simply filled evenly with hyaluronic acid, which can often cause an unnatural appearance. Instead, the lip contour is lifted through individual injection points, creating an optical volume effect. In particular, this emphasises the Cupid's bow, giving the lips a harmonious, heart-shaped look.
Botox®
Botulinum toxin, also known as Botox® for short, is mostly used to smooth wrinkles on the face and around the mouth. With us in Berlin, however, it can also be booked as an alternative to lip filler injections with hyaluronic acid. In the so-called Lip Flip very small amounts of Botox® are injected along the Cupid's bow and at the lip borders, creating a very subtle enlargement of the lips. This is especially noticeable when smiling: for many people, the lip rolls inward, making it look narrower. But thanks to the small dose of Botox®, it curves outward instead and reveals the red of the lip. This makes the lips look more voluminous without requiring any filler. This method is ideal if you want to enhance your lips in a subtle way. Both techniques can also be combined.
