What we would like to achieve for you? A natural result that suits your type and yet is clearly visible and matches your wishes. An individual consultation and examination of your skin and the depth of the wrinkles is the basis of the treatment. We inform you comprehensively about the effect of Botox® and the treatment process at our practice in Munich, as well as about the costs.
The Botox® injection is carried out with very fine cannulas precisely into the affected muscle areas and usually takes less than 30 minutes. In most cases, the fine injections are perceived as barely painful. After the treatment, you should initially avoid sport, sauna, tanning beds and intense sun exposure. Facial massages are also to be avoided. Our specialists provide you with instructions for aftercare for the best possible result.
Immediately afterwards, however, you can go about your everyday life and work. An initial wrinkle-reducing effect usually appears after two to four days, and the full effect of Botox® develops about seven to 14 days after the treatment with us in Munich.
Botulinum toxin, Botox® for short, we use at Aesthetify in Munich not only for aesthetic correction, but also for medical indications such as chronic migraines or bruxism. Botox® works by inhibiting the transmission of stimuli between nerve and muscle. This means that treated muscle areas can tense less strongly – wrinkles caused by muscle contraction smooth out and chronic pain can be reduced.
The effect lasts about four to eight months – depending on individual metabolism and the duration of the breakdown of the material by the body. An aesthetic Botox® treatment at Aesthetify in Munich is often combined with fillers such as hyaluronic acid or collagen stimulators to achieve a perfect effect and a vital appearance. Good to know: the more often Botox® is refreshed, the longer the intervals between treatments can become, as the muscle areas get used to the reduced activity.
Botox® is used at our private clinic in Munich primarily to reduce so-called expression lines or dynamic wrinkles. These include, among others:
- horizontal forehead lines that arise from raising the eyebrows,
- frown lines that develop from drawing the eyebrows together,
- crow's feet that arise from squinting the eyes when laughing,
- smoker's lines that form due to the "pursed mouth".
In addition, Botox® treatments are suitable for medical indications such as migraines and teeth grinding or clenching (bruxism). Here, the Botox® injection can also bring about a slimming of the face due to the reduction of muscle activity. We also offer a gentle lip correction with Botox®.
