If you would like to remove your frown lines, the practice of DR. RICK & DR. NICK is the right place for you. The minimally invasive procedure only takes a few minutes. The frown line is injected with a fine cannula and Botox® is injected directly into the muscles in small doses.
We only use premium quality botulinum toxin certified in Germany from renowned manufacturers. You will be fit for social life immediately after the treatment.
The prices for minimally invasive procedures are charged according to the German Medical Fee Schedule and are to be understood as guide prices. The costs of treating frown lines with Botox® at Aesthetify by DR. RICK & DR. NICK amount to approximately €150.00.
Once the frown lines have been removed, the results achieved last for around four to eight months – depending on the metabolism and the amount of botulinum toxin used. However, Botox® also has a preventative effect: it inhibits the nerve impulses and thus prevents your eyebrows from continuing to contract subconsciously. This ensures that the wrinkle cannot develop any further. This keeps the skin looking fresher for longer.
DR. RICK & DR. NICK can report from their own experience: Removing frown lines is extremely painless. As it is a minimally invasive procedure, possible discomfort is minimized from the outset. We advise patients who are sensitive to pain accordingly in advance – we will remove your frown lines with the utmost care.
Frown lines can quickly give cheerful faces a negative appearance and reduce self-esteem. Minimally invasive treatment with Botox® smooths out the unwanted wrinkles between the eyebrows and rejuvenates the appearance of the skin.
The specialized doctors DR. RICK & DR. NICK impress with their expertise, professionalism and care. With a trained eye, they achieve particularly natural results and help you regain a pleasant appearance by removing frown lines.
Frown lines are the vertical furrows between the eyebrows. As expression lines, they are mainly caused by high basic tension in the mimic forehead muscles. If the eyebrows are often drawn together or the forehead is frequently wrinkled during exertion, slight wrinkles initially form, which become deep furrows as the aging process progresses. Frown lines are considered particularly negative as they give us a serious and strained facial expression, which often does not match our true emotional state. This is why some people decide to have their frown lines removed.
/
The development of a frown line can be triggered by various factors. However, the most common cause is time: the older we get, the more collagen we lose and the elasticity of the skin tissue decreases. As a result, wrinkles such as frown lines form during the ageing process. A genetic predisposition can also lead to frown lines at a young age. Habits such as frequently frowning when concentrating also exacerbate frown lines.
/
Botox® is also used preventively. You should therefore start treatment before frown lines have formed. Our motto is therefore: prevention is better than cure, as wrinkles that are too deep are often much more difficult to treat.
The botulinum toxin inhibits the nerve impulses of the forehead muscles. This reduces excessive muscle movements – so you no longer contract your eyebrows involuntarily. If this movement does not occur, the muscle will train itself to stop contracting after a while. This prevents new wrinkles from forming and unwanted frown lines, which you then want to remove, do not appear in the first place.
/
After removing the frown lines, the first results are visible after just a few days. The full effect occurs after approx. 2 weeks. For permanent removal of frownlines, have them treated two to three times a year as required.

We will provide you with detailed information about the appropriate care and aftercare in a comprehensive consultation. As a general rule, you should take it easy for a day after the frown lines have been removed to give the Botox® time to spread evenly. To do this, you should actively keep your head straight for a few hours. If you have any questions, please contact DR. RICK & DR. NICK. Our doctors are also available to assist you after the treatment.

Of course, removing frown lines with Botox® is also an intervention in the body, which can entail risks and side effects. However, these are very minor in this context and disappear after a short time.
During the treatment consultation, we will inform you about possible risks and side effects. We will be happy to answer all your questions. Our specialist doctors are experienced in their work and prepared for a wide variety of cases, so you have nothing to fear.

There is no firm evidence that frown lines can be removed by massage. However, active relaxation can ensure that wrinkles do not deepen as quickly. If you want to massage your frown lines, place two fingers between your eyebrows and move them in a V-shape towards your hairline.
2.
Compared to hyaluronic acid, Botox® is the better choice for removing frown lines. Botox® inhibits the muscle movements responsible for wrinkle formation and smoothes the skin specifically at the frown line. In comparison, hyaluronic acid can fill the wrinkles, but it cannot prevent muscle movement and wrinkle formation. Accordingly, Botox® is more effective in removing frown lines in the long term. However, a combination can be very helpful for very deep wrinkles.

Should I start Botox® treatment early?
Yes, because Botox® has a preventative effect and is particularly effective if there are no deep frown lines yet. You can therefore start preventive treatment at a young age.
Whether wrinkle injections, lip augmentation or contouring for your face. Hyaluronic acid is the all-purpose weapon for a long-term beauty experience.
