What is radiofrequency needling?
Morpheus8® is an innovative method of treatment that stimulates the production of collagen in the deeper layers of the skin. Targeted deep skin treatment regenerates the tissue structure of the face and body, resulting in visibly firmer and more youthful-looking skin. The Morpheus8® treatment combines microneedling with radio frequency energy. The needles inflict microscopic wounds on the skin, which stimulates the body’s healing process. The skin is also heated in the treated areas, which stimulates the production of colleagues and thus tightens the skin. The signs of ageing thus disappear naturally and without surgical intervention.
The method is a good alternative to traditional skin rejuvenation procedures and is particularly gentle. The Morpheus8® treatment penetrates into the deepest layers of the skin, where it stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin fibers. The skin is thus tightened, facial contours are better defined and wrinkles, scars and enlarged pores are reduced. The effect occurs after a few days and is complete after around three months.

Before the Morpheus8® treatment, the area to be treated is thoroughly cleaned to remove make-up, dirt or oils. A special anesthetic cream is then applied to the affected areas before the treatment. This means you will not feel any pain during the treatment. An additional painkiller can also be used for particularly sensitive patients. The heating during the Morpheus8® treatment not only promotes collagen production, but also tightens the skin. Thanks to its customizable depth and intensity, Morpheus8® is suitable for different skin types and problems. Durability
The results of Morpheus8® treatment usually last up to three years. The exact duration depends on the age and individual factors of the body. We recommend at least two to three sessions for the first treatment. This effectively rejuvenates the skin and achieves the desired result.

Pain
Many patients wonder whether a Morpheus8® treatment causes pain. This is not the case, as the areas to be treated are anaesthetized beforehand. Redness and itching may occur afterwards, but these side effects disappear on their own. Cooling is usually sufficient.
Results
The first results are visible just a few days after the Morpheus8® treatment, while the most significant improvements occur after around three weeks. Skin regeneration continues, so that the appearance continues to optimize up to three months after the treatment. Risks and side effects
The Morpheus8® treatment may cause temporary reactions, such as slight redness, swelling or skin irritation in the treated areas. These side effects are similar to sunburn, but are generally harmless and usually disappear on their own within a few days. Occasionally, swelling or slight inflammation may occur, which can be treated with ice packs or cold compresses and usually disappear on their own. As the Morpheus8® treatment is not a surgical procedure, there is no risk of scarring.

What should I look out for after the treatment?
After the Morpheus8® treatment, it is important to moisturize the treated areas intensively and avoid direct sunlight. It is recommended to apply a high-quality broad-spectrum sun cream generously every day. Consistent UV protection not only helps to minimize the risk of skin cancer, but also slows down the skin’s natural ageing process. Make-up and aggressive skin care products should be avoided for the first few days. We recommend moisturizers to support the skin and gentle cleansers for washing. Despite the possible redness after the Morpheus8® treatment, you should avoid rubbing or scratching the skin. You should take it easy for 1 to 2 days and we recommend avoiding strenuous physical activity, swimming pools and saunas for about two weeks.
