Before the procedure, you will have a detailed personal consultation with one of our experienced specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery. During this consultation, you will share your wishes and ideas about the result. Based on your information, the doctor will select the most suitable options and explain them to you in detail. This includes the preparations, the procedure, the aftercare and also the possible risks. If you decide to have the procedure, you can make an appointment with our team.
On the day of treatment, we will go through each step with you in detail. During the operation, part of the mammary gland is removed first. The amount of tissue removed depends on how much the breast sags. This step involves a breast reduction. This is followed by the second part of the procedure: breast augmentation with implants. The size and shape of the implants are determined in advance together with your doctor so that your breasts have the desired shape after the wound has healed.
This method is even more effective than a pure breast augmentation without lifting, as your breasts will remain firm in the long term.

After the operation, you will be given a special support bra and belt to reduce swelling and bruising. Wear the bra around the clock for six weeks and the belt for about two weeks. The scars will hardly be visible later. You should take it easy in the first few days and not do any sport for 4-6 weeks. The final result will be visible after about six weeks, when swelling and redness have subsided.

For large breasts, a lift alone is not enough to achieve a full cleavage. This can only be achieved by inserting implants. To avoid enlarging the breast further, excess tissue is first removed. The breast is then tightened over the implant. The result of the plus-minus operation is very long-lasting, as only the patient’s own tissue can sag and the implants are permanently held in shape by the muscles.

As with other plastic and aesthetic operations, there are also possible risks with plus-minus surgery. However, complications are generally rare. Our experienced team does everything possible to minimize risks such as wound healing disorders, post-operative bleeding and sensitivity disorders.

1.
Most women can breastfeed using the plus-minus technique. However, it is not possible to determine in advance whether milk production will be possible in sufficient quantities. In order to maintain the results of the operation in the long term, we recommend only having the procedure performed once family planning has been completed.
2.
No, implants generally last a lifetime. However, if at some point you would like a different breast shape or size, this can be achieved by changing implants.
