Hyaluronic acid treatments - Hyaluronic acid injections
with Rick & Nick from Aesthetify

Hyaluronic acid treatments are becoming increasingly popular as an effective method of reducing deep wrinkles, especially on the face. These wrinkles often occur because our skin loses volume from the age of 25 and therefore also loses its firmness. For some people, this means that they no longer feel completely comfortable in their skin. A professional hyaluronic acid injection offers the solution in such cases and leads to increased self-confidence and an improved attitude to life.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the body and is found in various tissues such as the skin, connective tissue and joints. It is a type of sugar that binds water and therefore plays an important role in maintaining the skin’s moisture content and elasticity. With increasing age, the body’s own production of hyaluronic acid decreases – which in turn can lead to dry, sagging skin and the formation of wrinkles. You can remedy this with hyaluronic acid injections.

In general, hyaluronic acid, which we use for injections, is a popular agent in beauty treatments that can help to improve the appearance of the skin and restore self-confidence.

Hyaluronic acid injections - Information

Procedure

Prior to a hyaluronic acid injection, we always hold a detailed consultation in which we ask about your expectations and wishes and inform you about the treatment procedure. On the day of treatment, the affected skin area is cleaned and disinfected to prevent infection.

Before injecting hyaluronic acid, we can apply an anaesthetic gel – however, many patients describe the treatment as painless even without anaesthetic. Alternatively, hyaluronic acid with anesthetic can also be used in certain cases. The duration of the hyaluronic acid injection varies depending on the size of the area and the condition of the skin. Experience has shown that a positive result can be seen immediately – the full effect can be seen after a few days.

Effect

When hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin as a filler, it fills in wrinkles and lines by lifting the tissue – thus restoring volume to the skin. At the same time, it helps to tighten the skin and thus reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Thanks to its moisturizing effect, hyaluronic acid also helps to give the skin a more youthful appearance after injections.

The results of hyaluronic acid injections are usually visible immediately. The advantage of the body’s own acid as a filler is that it is a natural substance that leads to natural-looking results. However, the body breaks it down over time, so the results after hyaluronic acid injections are not permanent. However, a regular top-up helps to promote the long-term effect and achieve an improvement in skin quality and a tightening of the skin.

There are different types of fillers for hyaluronic acid injections, which can achieve different results depending on their density. As experienced doctors, Rick and Nick use a high-quality filler with excellent lifting power and longevity, which is why the results can last up to 1.5 years or even longer.

For which areas are hyaluronic acid injections suitable?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be used to treat different areas of the skin. Hyaluronic acid injections are particularly suitable if deeper wrinkles already exist or if there is a desire for a fresher, rejuvenated complexion.

Aftercare

After hyaluronic acid injections, it is important to take certain measures to minimize possible side effects and risks: Avoid direct sunlight, including visits to the solarium, as well as physical exertion, blood-thinning medication and alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours after hyaluronic acid injections. To reduce swelling and pain, it is advisable to cool the treated areas. Rick and Nick are of course also available to support you after the hyaluronic acid injection if you have any further complaints.

Costs

The cost of a hyaluronic acid treatment varies depending on the area and the amount of hyaluronic acid required for the injection. You can therefore expect a price range of €350.00 to €1500.00. Of course, Rick and Nick will inform you transparently about the exact costs of your individual treatment.

Pain

A hyaluronic acid injection is usually a painless procedure that does not require anesthesia in most cases. On request, an anesthetic filler can also be used to make the treatment as painless as possible.

Minimal pain after hyaluronic acid injections is also normal and nothing to worry about. Any discomfort should subside on its own within a few days.

Side effects

After hyaluronic acid injections, you may experience temporary side effects such as redness, swelling or bruising. It is also possible that the injection site may cause slight pain. However, these side effects are only temporary and should subside within a few days.

In very rare cases, an allergic reaction can also occur after injections with hyaluronic acid. Rick and Nick are of course always at your side – you are in the best hands with us and can contact us at any time.

Botox® or hyaluronic acid injections?

Depending on the goals of the treatment and in which areas treatment is desired, it can be carried out with either hyaluronic acid or Botox®. The effect of both substances differs. In contrast to hyaluronic acid, Botox® is primarily used to treat muscular wrinkles. Botox® relaxes the muscles so that they are immobilized and prevent disruptive movements that promote the formation of wrinkles. Non-moving muscles also become narrower over time, which is why they can also be used to make the face look smaller.

Hyaluronic acid injections are usually used to treat static wrinkles on the face that are caused, for example, by the natural ageing process of the skin – they are therefore also present when the muscles are relaxed. Botox® would therefore not help here. Hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, plumps up wrinkles from the inside out.
