Can I wear make-up after the treatment?
After a treatment, you should refrain from wearing make-up on the lip area for at least six to twelve hours to avoid irritating the treated area and preventing infection. We recommend not using lipstick or lip care until the following day.
When will I be socially acceptable again?
As a rule, you will be socially acceptable again immediately after lip injections. Slight swelling or redness may occur, but this usually subsides on its own within a short time. It is important that you take it easy on your lips in the first hours and days after the treatment. Initially, avoid hot drinks and food, make-up in the lip area and smoking. You should also avoid kissing for about 24 hours.
Sports activities are possible again after two days. However, you should refrain from cosmetic facial treatments – such as peelings, massages or facial cleansing – for a few weeks in order not to jeopardize optimal results.
